Our Preschool Room welcomes children aged 3 to 5 years old, with a staff-to-child ratio of 1:8, giving children the space to grow while receiving the guidance and support they need. This room is carefully designed to promote independence, early learning, and school readiness — helping children feel confident and prepared for their next big step.

Every area in the room is planned around children’s individual interests and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. We create rich, inviting spaces that inspire curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning.

✨ Key Learning & Play Areas:

• Reading & Circle Time Area:
  Our reading area is a warm, cosy den where children can snuggle up with their favourite books, enjoy daily story sessions, and share weekend news with friends. These moments support early literacy, language skills, and social confidence.

• Small World & Imaginative Play:
  This focal point of the room is designed to spark children’s imagination. It’s filled with dinosaurs, cars, animals, trains, and small-world people — resources chosen based on children’s interests to encourage role play, storytelling, and creative thinking.

• Creative &  Modelling Station:
  In this area, children experiment with different textures and materials to design and build their own models and art projects to proudly take home. Our home corner includes real-life items and food packaging, allowing children to imitate everyday experiences, build vocabulary, and strengthen their understanding of the world.

• Independence & School Readiness:
  Our practitioners support children in developing self-help skills — such as dressing, tidying, problem-solving, and working together — ensuring a smooth and confident transition to primary school.
