We are pleased to offer a range of funding options for families eligible for Government-funded childcare. This includes both the universal 15 hours and the extended 30 hours.Our funding models deliver the full annual entitlement:

15 Hours entitlement: 570 hours per year

FUNDING MODELS OVERVIEW

A. 15 HOURS FUNDING (Term-Time Only)

15 funded hours per week

38 school-term weeks

Total: 570 funded hours per year

Attendance Pattern

Options

Parents choose ONE:

Two Full Days (7.5 hours per day, 9:00–16:30)

Five Mornings (3 hours per day, 9:00–12:00)

Five Afternoons (3 hours per day, 13:00–16:00)

Meals/snacks/consumables charged separately.

B. 30 HOURS FUNDING

Parents may choose ONE of the following models:

OPTION A — Stretched 48 Weeks

23.75 funded hours per week

48 weeks a year

Total: 1,140 funded hours

Hours available 8:00am–6:00pm

OPTION B — Term-Time Only (38 Weeks)

30 funded hours per week

38 school-term weeks

Total: 1,140 funded hours

To maintain safe staffing and fair access, we may limit numbers in each pattern.

15 HOURS – TERM-TIME ONLY PATTERNS

Choose ONE:

1. Two Full Days

9:00am–16:30pm
7.5 funded hours per day
Meals & consumables: £70 per 6 weeks

2. Five Morning Sessions

9:00am–12:00pm
3 hours per day
Meals & consumables: £40 per 6 weeks

3. Five Afternoon Sessions

13:00am–16:00pm
3 hours per day

30 HOURS – STRETCHED (48 WEEKS) PATTERNS

Choose ONE:

1. Five Morning Sessions

8:00am–12:45pm
4 hours 45 minutes daily
Meals & consumables: £100 per 6 weeks

2. Five Afternoon Sessions

13:00pm–17:45pm
4 hours 45 minutes daily
Meals & consumables: £100 per 6 weeks

3. Two Full Days + Wednesday Half Day

Choose:

Mon & Tue full days (08:00 -17:45) + Wed morning (08:00 -12:15)
OR
Thu & Fri full days (08:00 -17:45) + Wed morning (08:00 -12:15) + Wed afternoon (13:00 to 17:15)

Total = 23.75 funded hours
Meals & consumables: £100 per 6 weeks

30 HOURS – TERM-TIME ONLY (38 WEEKS) PATTERNS

1. Three Full Days

8:00am–18:00pm
10 hours per day
Meals & consumables: £100 per 6 weeks

2. Five Half Days

9:00am–15:00pm
6 hours per day
Meals & consumables: £100 per 6 weeks

ADDITIONAL HOURS & EXTRA CHARGES

Any time outside your funded pattern will be charged at our standard rates, including:

Early starts (7:30–8:00am)
Additional or extended hours
Extra days or sessions
Ad-hoc or emergency bookings
Holiday care (for TTO children)
Meals, snacks & consumables
Optional trips or activities

All charges will be itemised clearly on invoices.

BANK HOLIDAYS & NURSERY CLOSURES

Stretched funding applies across bank holidays.
Term-time funding only applies during school terms.
Funded hours cannot be moved or “made up” if missed due to closures or bank holidays.

TRANSPARENT INVOICING

To follow national guidance:

Funded hours will always show as £0.00
All chargeable items listed separately
No funded hours are sold, top-up-charged or discounted
Fully-funded places are available

EXTRA SESSION PRICES

Extra hours (up to 3 hours): £15 per hour. Any extra minutes (15, 30 minutes) rolls up to one hour
After 3 hours: Half day rate £55
Full day: £75
Weekly price (full week): £375

VISUAL TIMETABLES (Simplified)

Stretched – 5 Mornings

Mon–Fri: 8:00–12:45 (23.75 hrs)

Stretched – 2 Full Days + Wed Half Day

Example:

Mon 8:00–17:45
Tue 8:00–17:45
Wed 8:00–12:15 (or 13:00–17:15)

TTO – 3 Full Days

Any 3 days, 8:00–18:00

TTO – 5 Half Days

Mon–Fri: 9:00–15:00

CLEAR CONTRACT WORDING (Simplified)

Ardwick Day Nursery offers:
(1) a 48-week stretched model (23.75 funded hours/week);
(2) a 38-week term-time model for 30 hours;
(3) a 38-week term-time model for 15 hours.

Funded hours must follow one of the approved attendance patterns. We may limit places in each pattern for staffing and ratio reasons.

Any hours outside the chosen pattern—including early starts (7:30–8:00am), extra hours, additional sessions or holiday care—are chargeable. Meals, snacks, consumables and optional extras are not covered by funding and will be itemised on invoices. All funded hours appear as £0.00, as required by national regulations.
