About Us

Your Child Is in Great Hands

Ardwick Day Nursery

Ardwick Day Nursery, formerly known as Early Explorers, was originally established in 2014 by Summit Education Charity. With more than 11 years of experience in early years education, we are proud to provide high-quality childcare and early learning for families in Ardwick and the wider Manchester community.

In 2025, Early Explorers was acquired by Eduworld Ltd and transformed into Ardwick Day Nursery. This rebrand reflects a renewed commitment to excellence, with a clear focus on enhancing the quality of our provision. The improvements taking place across the setting — from updated resources to improved facilities and staff development — are designed to make a positive, long-term contribution to the children, families and community we serve.

We are an Ofsted-registered private day nursery with capacity for 56 children, supported by a passionate and experienced team of early years practitioners. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive through high-quality care, play and education.

Our nursery features three spacious age-appropriate rooms — a Baby Room, Toddler Room and Preschool Room — each with direct access to large outdoor play areas. These environments are carefully designed to encourage active, exploratory learning and support children’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, offering a balanced curriculum that promotes communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional growth, early literacy and numeracy, and a love of exploration. Our approach encourages children to develop confidence, curiosity, independence, and the skills they need to make a smooth transition to primary school.

At Ardwick Day Nursery, we work in close partnership with parents and carers. We believe that strong parent–practitioner relationships are key to supporting children’s development. Our team is committed to providing personalised care, high standards of safeguarding, and a welcoming, multicultural environment where every child feels valued and included.
